HOW DOES IT WORK?

The website Goliath-store.com offers an annual maintenance solution for the rolling and braking system, unique on the market and accessible to all boat owners. 

 

  • Annual and multi-year intervention contracts. 
  • Contracts adapted to all braked trailers, regardless of the brand. 
  • Servicing carried out by the leading national network of nautical professionals. 
  • An online maintenance certificate accompanies your trailer over the years. 
  • Repair of all other trailer components (for all brands), or the provision of exclusive equipment such as the Quickflex tie-down system or the Goliath safety winch (additional services available on request through the network).

The maintenance and selective replacement protocol (systematic replacement is not necessary) of the most sensitive components over several years ensures good maintenance at the best cost. 

Multi-year contracts are offered based on the age of your trailer (the date of first registration is used as a reference). A 3-year contract purchased at the same time as a new trailer provides 4 years of maintenance coverage (which means one year beyond the last scheduled maintenance). 

However, if you don’t use your trailer often, you can choose a single-year contract that covers only the period of us. 

Please contact our services if your trailer was registered more than 7 years ago, so we can provide you with a quote tailored to the condition of your boat trailer. 

Our maintenance contracts only cover the replacement of certain wear parts in the braking system and hub, within the limits of our contractual commitments (please review the terms of each contract before confirming). 

A VERY SIMPLE PROCESS 

  1. You purchase the contract that suits your needs online. 
  2. You receive a reminder email before the season starts. 
  3. You book an appointment online with the certified professional of your choice, preferably the one who already maintains your boat, if they are part of the certified network 
  4. The certified center confirms the appointment. 
  5. The trailer is made available to the professional, who performs the service and updates the maintenance logbook.
  6. You confirm the proper completion of the service. Your trailer is now serviced and ready for the boating season. 

USE AND TRANSFER OF THE CONTRACT

 

The contract is linked to the trailer. Therefore, it can be transferred upon simple request from the holder. However, the process remains mandatory and must be initiated by the holder through Goliath-store’s services. 

All maintenance services are mandatory and must be performed within a maximum period of 6 months from the acquisition of the contract and 12 months following the last service. A reminder email is sent several weeks before each deadline. 

Failure to comply with these conditions results in the automatic termination of the contract. In exceptional circumstances, an appeal can be made to our services. 

A renewal contract can only be obtained after a primary contract associated with the referenced trailer, within a limit of 12 months following the completion of the previous contract. 

Appointments must be scheduled during the off-season to benefit from the best price. An additional fee of 50 euros will be charged if the appointment is scheduled between April 1st and August 31st.
