Are you a seasoned yachtsman looking for the perfect stretch of water to take your Cap Camarat out? Nautilus is the trailer made for boats that do as many nautical miles as they do kilometers! Click here to discover all our ranges

The " from slipway to road in 5 minutes" concept

Renowned for their quality and incomparable road holding, Nautilus boat trailers are also designed to facilitate and secure the handling of the boat: the "QuickFlex" tie-down system can be installed and removed in the blink of an eye, the traditional light plate is replaced by sliding waterproof LED lights and the Goliath TS winch ensures the safe handling of the boat.

A tailor-made trailer

For easy transport and use, it is necessary to adapt the trailer to your boat. This is why the Nautilus range offers a choice of 3 lengths per GVW, at no extra cost or manufacturing delay, allowing you to have a trailer whose length and load capacity correspond exactly to your boat. This simplifies and facilitates adjustments, particularly when launching. Read more

Every boat is different, and choosing the wrong trailer can affect the overall safety of the vehicle being transported. If you have any doubts about the right choice of trailer, check out our blog or contact one of our specialist dealers.

Double reinforced chassis and independent suspension

The structure of Nautilus trailers (from 1300 kg GVW) consists of a one-piece "rolling" chassis with independent suspension (replacing the traditional rigid axle), to which is attached a "supporting" chassis that supports the boat. A system of springs equipped with two springs per wheel offers great flexibility and allows for cushioning similar to cars and other motorised 4-wheelers. These features improve stability, handling and comfort, a unique feature on boat trailers brands.

An innovative light system

Nautilus replaces the rear light plate with waterproof sliding LED lights. No more risk of forgetting it at the dock, or of having to handle it, just slide the lights onto the spar. All wiring harnesses are equipped with waterproof connectors.

The signalling components fitted to the trailers are important safety features. The exposure of the connectors to marine corrosion makes the electrical system of the trailers inoperable very quickly, particularly at the level of the light plate, which is very exposed to repeated handling and to sea water.

Launching without immersion: longevity and safety

Nautilus has an optimised launching system thanks to its 110mm diameter rollers, and a tilting rear bogie crossbar which limits the boat's pitching up during launching. This makes it easier to launch even in shallow water. The immersion of the wheels of a Nautilus trailer is thus limited (below the hub), which preserves the longevity of your trailer and improves safety on the road.

Finally, it has a brake drum rinsing kit which allows the evacuation of sea water and thus slows down corrosion.

The Goliath safety pack protects you

Nautilus trailers are equipped with Goliath TS winches. Specially designed for boat handling, it allows the strap to be unrolled freely, and its brake system engages automatically when the boat calls for it. A 2nd gear reduces the effort on the handle by 50%, simply switch axles with your handle.

Please note that it is not permitted to use the winch or its support for stowing the boat. The tie-down system must be independent and comply with the EN12195 standard to meet safety requirements on the road.

Nautilus is equipped with the professional QuickFlex stowing system (fasteners and tensioners). The system is very intuitive and can be installed in the blink of an eye. Powerful tensioning is achieved with a click of the Goliath TS winch’s handle. The elastomer straps with metal core are non-stretchable. They immobilise the boat in all circumstances and improve handling, particularly when avoiding obstacles or braking hard.

In order to drive safely season after season, we recommend that you have your trailer serviced annually, starting in the first year of use. After all, who hasn't found themselves stuck on the highway with a broken axle?

Whatever the brand, Goliath Service maintenance contracts offer you the possibility of a complete overhaul and maintenance of the rolling and braking systems every year. So you can get back on the road with peace of mind.

When you buy a Nautilus trailer, the 4-season maintenance contract is half price!
