- Your safety and that of your loved ones depend on the proper maintenance of your trailer. The user is responsible for this according to the highway code.
- Submersion in seawater can rapidly (sometimes within a few months) deteriorate the functions related to the trailer’s rolling and braking system, which are critical safety components that need to be checked and replaced over the years.
- Even though regular rinsing can delay or limit the deterioration of equipment, an annual service is still essential to ensure road safety.
- The traditional cost of an annual trailer service is often very high compared to the price of the trailer itself. As a result, many owners wait until a breakdown occurs on the road to carry out repairs, which can sometimes lead to replacing the axle (up to 50% of the price of a new trailer, given the unfavorable repair conditions).

A 3-year contract, including 3 maintenance services with a protocol specially designed for new trailers of all brands, is available from the moment you purchase your boat trailer.
You can benefit from our “New Trailer” contract in two ways:
You purchase a new Nautilus trailer from your agent.
- The maintenance contract is provided with the trailer* (subject to conditions).
- You receive free maintenance for your trailer for 4 seasons, equivalent to 48 months.
You purchase a new trailer from another brand.
You can purchase the 3-year maintenance contract online at Goliath-Store.com at any time, up to the 12th month following the first registration date of your trailer.
If you already own a trailer, regardless of the brand, that has been registered for more than 12 months and less than 10 years (subject to conditions), Goliath-store.com offers you two types of contracts based on the usage of your trailer:
Periodic Maintenance Contract
A 3-year contract (3 maintenance services), available in two versions for boat trailers less than 5 years old or less than 7 years old (or up to 10 years old, subject to approval by our services).
Spot Contract
A one-time maintenance and comprehensive inspection contract for the rolling system and brakes of your trailer, including the replacement of most safety components* (see contract details). This contract is ideal if you use your trailer very rarely or if you plan to sell it. A follow-up contract (2 years) can be purchased within 12 months following the maintenance service.
MAINTENANCE CERTIFICATE

- This certificate acts as a true passport for the trailer, certifying that it has been properly maintained.
- It helps to increase the resale value of your trailer.
- It also confirms the status of your maintenance contract.
USE AND TRANSFER OF THE CONTRACT
The contract is linked to the trailer, making it transferable upon simple request from the holder. However, the process remains mandatory and must be initiated by the holder through Goliath-store’s services.
All maintenance services are mandatory and must be carried out within a maximum of 6 months following the acquisition of the contract and within 12 months of the last service. A reminder message is sent several weeks before each due date. Failure to comply with these conditions will result in the automatic termination of the contract. In exceptional circumstances, an appeal may be submitted to our services.
DISCOVER OUR CONTRACTS
A follow-up contract can only be purchased after a primary contract linked to the referenced trailer, within 12 months following the completion of the previous contract.
Appointments must be made during the off-season to benefit from the best price. An additional fee of 50 euros will be charged if the appointment is scheduled between April 1st and August 31st.
