The Océane boat trailers are designed for simple and punctual use. From the exit to the launch and transport, this uncluttered boat carrier is ideal for small budgets. Its design has been thought out to facilitate the handling of your boat: the retractable light system with bulb to avoid the light plate, the tilting rear crossbar and the Goliath TS winch with strap are equipped on the whole range for your comfort and safety.
Fancy additional options for your Océane? You have the possibility to equip it with waterproof LED lights (fitted as standard on Rocca and Nautilus), a custom length or a professional stowing system, the Quickflex. Launching without immersion: durability and safety
Océane has a simplified and optimised launching system. It is equipped with small rollers that perfectly fit the shape of the hull and make it easier to manoeuvre the boat on the trailer. The tilting rear crossbar limits the boat's pitching during launching, which facilitates launching even in shallow holds. The immersion of the wheels of an Océane trailer is limited (below the hub), which preserves the longevity of your trailer and improves safety on the road.
An innovative light system
The signalling components fitted to the trailers are important safety features.
The rear light plate is replaced by sliding lights. No more forgetting the light plate on the chock and no more systematic assembly and disassembly. The Océane’s sliding lights can slide away in the blink of an eye! The traditional light plate is available as an option for boats equipped with a rear seat. Océane trailers are equipped with non-waterproof bulb lights. LED lights are available as an option and are complimentary on the Rocca and Nautilus ranges.
The exposure of the connections to salted water renders the electrical system of the trailers inoperative very quickly, particularly at the level of the light plate, which is very exposed to repeated handling and to sea water. All our trailers are assembled in France, using robust components developed for the marine environment. The whole chassis is hot-dip galvanised for better corrosion resistance.
Single length
Océane has only one length for each GVW which restricts the adaptability of the boat on the trailer. The Satellite, Rocca and Nautilus brands offer a choice of 3 lengths per GVW without additional cost or manufacturing time. This allows you to pick a trailer that is entirely customised to your boat, for easy transport and launching in complete safety.
The Goliath safety pack protects you
All Océane trailers are equipped with a Goliath winch from the TS range. Specially designed for boat handling, it allows the strap to be unrolled freely, and its brake system engages automatically when it is called upon by the boat. A 2nd gear reduces the effort on the crank by 50%, simply change the drive shaft crank.
Please note that it is not permitted to use the winch or its support for tying-down the boat. The stowing system must be independent and comply with the EN12195 standard to meet safety requirements on the road.
In order to meet the expectations of boaters who are tired of spending time installing tie-down straps all around the boat, we have developed the QuickFlex professional stowing system. The system is very intuitive and can be installed in the blink of an eye. Powerful tensioning is achieved with a click of the Goliath TS winch’s handle. The elastomer straps with metal core are non-stretchable. They immobilise the boat in all circumstances and improve handling, particularly when avoiding obstacles or braking hard.
The Océane range is not equipped with the Quickflex system, which can be purchased separately. But it is available as a pre-equipment on the Satellite, Rocca and Nautilus ranges.
To ensure your safety on the road, we recommend that you carry out an annual inspection of your boat carrier during the first year of operation. After all, who hasn't found themselves with a broken axle on the hard shoulder of the motorway?
