Rolling chassis with additional crossbar
ROCCA boat carriers are equipped with an additional crossbar in the running gear area. This crossbar reinforces the geometry of the trailer and allows for a better distribution of the rollers when the design of the boat requires it. The robustness of your Rocca trailer is unequalled on the market!
Launching without immersion: longevity and safety
Rocca trailers have an optimised launching system, large diameter rollers, a tilting crossbar and an additional crossbar on the front of the chassis for even more strength. These features allow the trailer to follow the shape of the boat perfectly and thus limit the boat's pitching up during launching.
The immersion of the rolling systems on the Rocca range is limited (below the hub) thanks to its tilting crossbar, which preserves the longevity of your trailer and improves safety on the road.
Innovative light system
Rocca replaces the rear light plate with waterproof sliding LED lights. No more risk of forgetting the light plate on the dock and no more cumbersome handling, just slide the lights onto the side rail. All wiring harnesses are equipped with waterproof connectors.
The signaling components fitted to the trailers are important safety features. The exposure of the connectors to marine corrosion makes the electrical system of the trailers very quickly inoperative, particularly at the level of the light plate, which is very exposed to repeated handling and to sea water.
The Goliath safety pack protects you
All Rocca trailers are equipped with a Goliath winch from the TS range. Specially designed for boat handling, it allows the strap to be unrolled freely, and its brake system engages automatically when it is called upon by the boat. A 2nd gear reduces the effort on the crank by 50%, simply change the drive shaft crank.
Please note that it is not permitted to use the winch or its support for stowing the boat. The lashing system must be independent and conform to the EN12195 standard to meet safety requirements on the road.
Rocca is equipped with the professional QuickFlex tie-down system (fasteners and tensioners). This system is very intuitive and can be installed in the blink of an eye. The powerful tensioning is achieved with a click of the handle on the Goliath TS winch. The elastomer straps with metal core are non-stretchable. They immobilise the boat in all circumstances and improve handling, particularly when avoiding obstacles or braking hard.
To ensure your safety on the road, we recommend that you carry out an annual inspection of your boat carrier during the first year of operation. After all, who hasn't found themselves with a broken axle on the hard shoulder of the motorway?
