Since the boat's floats are fragile, it is not recommended to run the straps over them, as this could cause permanent damage. The QuickFlex offers a tie-down solution that preserves your boat's floats.

For the front stowage, 3 solutions for more flexibility

  • For boats under 1000 kg: the SR lasso

If your boat is less than 1000 kg, the use of a front SR lasso is more than sufficient. Hook the snap hook of the lasso to the chainplate ring of your boat and attach the end to the turnbuckle.

  • For boats from 1000 to 1600 kg: the Flexband

A Flexband lasso with a double attachment point is required. Note that the Flexband is connected to a unique tensioner on one side, equivalent to the one used for rigid hulls, and is grafted on the other side directly into the rack.

  • Large semi-rigid hulls over 1600 kg

They have a width of more than 2.5 m and require deflation of the floats during transport. The stowage is then done on 4 cleat points, as for a rigid hull.

For the rear stowage, 2 solutions to adapt to all hulls

  • For boats with a standard transom (+ 30cm)

The rack is equipped with a snap hook that hooks directly onto the rear rings on either side of the engine. The tensioner slides on the rack and is connected to the flexible lasso which is fixed directly on the rear crossbar. In order to protect the hull, the system rests on a protective mat and the lasso follows the shape of the boat without leaving any marks.

  • Alternatively, when the transom is too narrow (- 30cm)

The lasso equipped with a snap hook is fixed on the transom and passes under the float. It is connected to the tensioner which slides on the rack for tensioning. The rack and pinion system is positioned on the spar, behind the mudguard.

The components of the Quickflex tie-down kit

A high resistance lasso (SR / flexband /B)

The lasso is made of composite materials on a metal core and is designed to protect your boat. Flexible but not extensible, the lassos immobilize the boat in all circumstances, without leaving any traces.

Quickflex lassos are available in 5 lengths in order to adapt to the front and rear dimensions of your boat when they are different.

An anti-corrosion rack attached to the trailer's side rails

Made of high-resistance steel, set in an anti-corrosion anodised aluminum profile, it allows the safety of the tensioner and a double dimensional adjustment of the system (about 20 cm on the rack and 30 cm by moving the tensioner).

A powerful tensioner with a double safety device

It slides onto the rack for tensioning. Its double safety system makes it impossible to unlock the winch without the crank or simultaneous action on the controls. Tensioning is done by rotation using the handle of the Goliath TS winch.
